2008 screen and music 'obsessions'

I'm underwhelmed by the announcement of who the next Doctor will be... though I think that was bound to happen. My first thought was that he is too young, I really would have preferred someone older. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait and see if he pulls it off or not.

Anyway, on to the real point of this post...







































This is here to remind me that I have something to look forward to whenever I'm feeling pissed off with the world ;) Hopefully they'll be even more to add as the year progresses.

What movies/shows/music are my flist looking forward to most? :P

Thanks, it was a total product of boredom + having to stay awake so that I can get my body clock back in order.

BSG is the thing I'm most looking forward to this year by far. But with that there's a strange mix of sadness, because when it's finished... that's it :(

You have a lot of Stargate to look forward to! ^_^

I recently finished Firefly and I really, really loved it. It had fantastic characters and an amazing humour to it... I was so sad when I reached the last episode, I really wish it had lasted longer :/

Now that I've done with both that and 30 Rock, I'm going to work on catching up with Dexter and Sanctuary... then onto the Treks probably, ha.

Hahah, I know what you mean. I'm kinda bored too; saving screencaps isn't the most enervating thing to do, but at least I can do some photoshopping afterwards. :-) I look forward to BSG too but I will be deeply sad when it's all over. I don't want it to be over. :-(

OMG, my bodyclock is completely off! When I have a holiday it always shifts so badly! I hardly get up before noon and I hardly go to bed before midnight. Terrible! And then when I work on Friday I crash, cos I gotta get up at 6. YAWN!

I've yet to finish Firefly. I think the wild west aspect of it is so funny!

Gonna agree more there, it's a mind-numbingly boring thing to have to do... but it needs to be done for all that photoshop fun ;P

I'm going to be in denial for so long after BSG ends... esp. if certain characters don't survive. Kinda like how I rarely recognise the existence of the last HP book, or at least certain events in it.

My bodyclock is always a bit funky, so normally I don't really get enough sleep because I struggle to do so at an early enough time. In the holidays however I'm near nocturnal. It's a pain, isn't it?

I love the Western aspect to the show... never would have thought it would work, but I'm happy to be proved wrong.

Oh, yeah...denial, mourning etc. Ha, I know exactly what even you mean (Prof. D.). When I read that I was sobbing all over :-(

And aren't those Reavers the most creepy ever?I've only seen the movie and one other ep, but I'm looking forward to the rest. Right now I am clocking MANY hours watching SG-1! :-P

I was sad about Dumbledore, but I must admit that I think I was more sad about the circumstances... it was Snape I sobbed for (yes I'm an oddball, lol).

yep, I found the Reavers seriously disturbing! lol, I can imagine... you have a lot to get through afterall.

Oh yeah Snape. That was so sad, it was so well written it just grabbed me.
